Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective August 1, 2026
NotaryRate is operated by Shaneika Imani Berryman. We'd rather you try the toolkit before you ever pay us, so every subscription starts with a free trial instead of a refund window.
Try it free for 10 days
Every new subscription includes a 10-day free trial. Nothing is charged during the trial, and you can cancel before it ends at no cost. Use those 10 days to decide — that is our version of a money-back guarantee.
All payments are final
Once a subscription payment is processed, it is non-refundable, including partial periods and unused time. We do not issue refunds or prorated credits for a month or year that has already begun.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops all future charges immediately — there is nothing further to pay. You keep full access through the end of the period you already paid for, and access simply ends on that date.
If a renewal payment doesn't go through
We don't chase payments. If a renewal can't be processed, your subscription simply ends at the close of the period you already paid for. You are never billed for a period you didn't successfully pay for, and you can resubscribe whenever you like.
Exceptions
If you were charged in error — a duplicate charge or a charge you did not authorize — contact us and we'll make it right. We also honor refunds where required by applicable consumer law.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback — billing questions are almost always resolved faster directly.
